MEETING NOTES

For our January 4th, 2012 meeting, Marcus Juniel will be our demonstrator with Lee Anthony assisting. They are returning to the club and will be kicking off the year with our first demonstration. These are the brothers from Bend ... well not Bend, Oregon, at least. They have been making a name for themselves over the past few years showing us the possibility of bending thich trunks and branches. This is not to say that we all should go out and attempt to bend 2-3 inch think branches or limbs, but it is an encouragement to us to attempt the bending of branches or trunks that we would have normally thought too thick to bend.

I am not sure what their program will consist of, but it always is an interesting night when the tag team of Marcus and Lee take on a surly old piece of material. So let's get ready to rumble ......

Note: Due to the low lying basin area, during heavy continuous rains in the Valley, the local authorities may close off the area surrounding The Japanese Garden. This has happened in the past and if it happens on a meeting night, we may not be able to enter the area to hold our meeting.
